Bringing: Kazuri beads from Kenya and Samunnat beads from Nepal
Karibu Beads is the authorized Canadian distributor of fair-trade Kazuri beads and buttons from Kenya. These wonderful beads are made from the clay around Mount Kenya, and are hand-made and hand-painted by the women employed in the Kazuri factory. A new addition of hand-made polymer clay beads from Nepal are also fair-trade and support Nepalese women who are affected by domestic violence. Each bead is a gift, and a story of one woman’s life. Deb Thivierge, the owner of Karibu Beads is very excited to be back at the fantastic Grand River Bead Society Fall Show this year!
